What We Do

Our mission is to give you everything you need to operate better.

For more than 60 years, we’ve been helping companies monitor, maintain, and control their processes and facilities so they can operate at a higher level. Whether it’s components, service, or a completely customized solution, we do whatever it takes to keep you in control of your output.

We believe that strong relationships are the key to successful operations.

For three generations, we’ve been investing in building relationships with customers, vendor partners,
and team members. We treat each customer as part of our family and work hard to make sure we are making the best decisions to support your goals.

The desire to innovate and push the envelope of what is possible has been the driving force behind our success since 1961.

We are continuously adapting and innovating so we can best serve your needs. You’re never limited to just the products on our shelves – it’s this ability to be innovative that sets us apart from other companies.

When you pair our custom solutions with our unbeatable customer service, you’ll discover the difference between doing something well and having the competitive advantage that comes from doing something exceptionally well.

With more than 60 years in the business, we value our long-standing relationships with our customers and vendor partners and pride ourselves on the support we provide.

Partnering with Kundinger means working with an experienced team that knows what you need.

Our History

As a small fluid power distributor, we were founded on the value of relationships. We’ve grown to offer automation, process control, and product solutions, but our foundation has never wavered.

Thomas A. Kundinger and Ken Miller found Miller-Kundinger Sales Engineering. Operations started in the Kundinger family basement in Fenton, Michigan.

Miller-Kundinger moved the business to a building in downtown Fenton, Michigan, serving customers in Michigan’s industrial “Golden Triangle”.

Thomas A. Kundinger buys 40 acres of farmland along Highway 23 in Fenton, Michigan to develop an industrial park and build a new headquarters building for Miller-Kundinger Sales Engineering.

Operations expand to Appleton, Wisconsin, and the company’s name changes to Kundinger Fluid Power, Inc.

The new Michigan headquarters opens in Fenton. The office and warehouse building on Alloy Drive became the first building in the industrial area along US-23.

The second generation of leadership establishes roots with the company. Thomas J. Kundinger, the eldest of the Kundinger sons, relocates to Wisconsin to oversee Kundinger Fluid Power operations.

A new phase of the Kundinger business is established with the addition of Hydra-Tech Systems, now known as Kundinger Technology Center. This new arm of the business allows Kundinger to take individual vendor products and put them together in a packaged solution for customers.

Kundinger acquires Analytical Process Systems, Inc. (APS), a solutions provider for specialty testing equipment, control system integration and facility safety systems.

The headquarters in Michigan moves again, relocating to Auburn Hills, Michigan, where it is still located today.

A new Wisconsin headquarters building is constructed in Neenah, Wisconsin.

A Kundinger Parts and Service Center opens in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Kundinger expands again with the opening of a Kundinger Parts and Service Center in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

Kundinger celebrates a half-century as a family-run business.

Kundinger Service and Repair Solutions, LLC is formed to offer repair services to customers at a lower cost than a new product.

Now in its third generation of leadership, Kundinger Fluid Power celebrates 60 years of innovation and adaptability.
